Nice patio. They have a limited menu and are a bit pricey but the food is wonderful, service is excellent and the outdoor patio great on one of our few nice days this year.The penne pasta has chicken, artichokes, basil, garlic and lemon with a bit of cream sauce. This is their most popular dish for a good reason. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs (lots of meatballs) which he really liked. He said the best meatballs are still at Al Vento.The tiramisu was excellent but $9 for a small portion.

Best meal from start to finish. We had a gift card for the D’ Amico partners and decided to try out Campiello for our anniversary. What a great choice. Our meal started with a great wine and a roasted pear salad that was awesome. Our entrees were the short ribs and a pasta dish. Both were very good, but the short ribs were off the chart good. We ended with a fabulous dessert. My husband and I both feel it was one of the best meals we’ve had out in a very long time. It is a little expensive, but well worth it for a special night out.
Really miss the one in…. Really miss the Campiello in Uptown,& I also enjoy the one in Naples,Fla. where the food & ambiance is only rivaled by the Minnesota Teams playing on their screens, thanks to the D’Amico family loyalty to their home town.This location always excellent too,upscale yet unpretentious menu,great decor,& attractive people watching. 4.5 out of 5 Tiara’s
Our Special Night Out Place. We really like Campiello. The service has always been fantastic and the food even better. On holidays, they tend to go for a set menu, which means their best dish doesn’t always make an appearance. When we go, we almost always order their short ribs in balsamic vinegar. The noise level can get loud on Friday & Saturday nights. We try and eat out on the patio whenever we can just for that reason.The other nice thing is that their menu changes seasonally, so even though we may order the same main course, we mix it up with appetizers and desserts.They are on the middle to upper end for prices in the suburbs, but worth it every couple of months.
