Way too noisy….. Food is basically very good but you end up talking very loudly during the busy times. They need more fabrics on the walls to soak up the sound. Senior citizens (and a lot of them go there) who are hearing impaired would not be able to hear a simple conversation. Let’s do something about that soon guys….Had a delicious Chef Salad and Corned Beef sandwich(cooked in the back kitchen)…fresh and tasty…I’ll have to go there again during the off-peak times.

Dangerous!. Food was average, prices way too high.Reason it’s dangerous? The parking lot! DO NOT DRIVE THERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR! Full of obnoxious potholes. Gave me a flat tire. You would think with the prices they charge for their average food, they could make less profit and fix their parking lot.

Good food bad ambiance. We found the restaurant very good by all of the traditional standards. We do not plan to return because we view dining that involves a server an experience, not just eating. The total experience was damaged by the assault of Fox News, a purveyor of propaganda, falsehoods and right wing lies. The server explained that was the owners decision and after all it was balanced; the other TV was tuned in to CNN. Nooo center right does not balance extreme right. If balance were the mission, MSNBC would have been on in place of CNN. A better choice would be to have CNN on both sets.

Scrumptious. My husband and I love this place with or without our two kids in tow. Our latest visit was a lunch date. The Kevin’s combo sandwich was delicious. I chose the potato salad for my side, and I have to say, theirs is my favorite-nice and saucy. My husband, striving to keep the weight off, chose the Israeli couscous with chicken. It was awesome! The chicken was really moist and the couscous was full of flavor. The tradition of getting pickles and pickled beats before the meal continues even though they charge for it now. I never liked pickled beets until now. They also give you a bread basket ahead of time with a variety of their breads from the bakery. Hard not to fill up before your meal – so good.

This one was my fault. Due to what appeared to be a wise choice at the onset, my pastrami burger turned out to be an ordering mistake. The burger patty itself had more of a meatloaf texture and flavor, and not great meatloaf at that. The pastrami added nothing to the burger, so overall, it was just not good, and I take full responsibility for it too. My wife ordered the Israeli Cous Cous Salad with Chicken. This was actually pretty good. For the first time in my life, I was jealous of my wife’s salad order over my burger. We have friends who frequent Crossroads Deli often and really like it, so I would be willing to give it another chance as I blew it the first time. Side note: The bakery case is pretty impressive. Be prepared to take some to go.
