Honestly you should avoid this place, don’t know if they’re understaffed or just slow. There wasn’t even alot of people dining, probably two table plus us and it took a while for them to come over and ask us if we’re ready to order. We waited even longer for the food. Also food wasn’t that good and the waitress tend to skip us when refilling water and asking how the table is doing. Probably going to get fast food instead of stopping at this place again:(
New favorite!. I’ve gotten take-out on a number of occasions from Banana Blossom, but ate in the restaurant two weeks ago. The Chicken Pad Thai was the best it’s ever been, and the Red Curry was absolutely phenomenal, albeit a little spicy. The fruit shakes were surprisingly tasty, too. Banana Blossom has officially surpassed Quang as my favorite spot to eat Thai/Vietnamese in the Twin Cities! It’s yet another Northside gem.
Bad service and terrible pho. I’ve been to banana blossom before and thought it wasnt all that bad but a lot has changed. There are new waitresses who seems to care more about talking than getting us menus or water. Also, the pho noodles were hard and the broth was barely warm. It’s unfortunate that this experience has ruined banana blossom for me. I would not recommend this place.
Great tasting food and reasonably priced. Food was delicious; curry, Pad Thai, egg rolls. We’ve tried a lot of Thai food in Minneapolis and this one is up near the top.
Banana blossom awesomeness. Great food at great prices. Authentic and fresh flavor. North Minneapolis is lucky to have such a jewel of a restaurant.
I have been countless times now and have never been disappointed. The pho amazing and and they also offer a create your own. The Pork lettuce wraps are the best I have ever had and could eat them every week. Last trip I ordered the Thai fried rice and was very pleased. This is exactly the type of place that I love. No pretense, affordable prices and great food.
