Food not worth the awful service. I met a friend here for breakfast and coffee with my 2 month old baby, who slept in her carseat the entire visit. I needed a table where I could tuck her away, and chose a 4 top next to the wall. When we sat down the woman clearing the table said that they reserve 4 tops for 3 or more, but that we could sit there as long as they didn’t have people waiting. I explained that I needed a table where I could set me sleeping baby. She didn’t offer any suggestions of where to sit. We ordered food, pastries and beverages. One of the staff members actually stepped over my baby (in the carseat) with food rather than walking around on the other side of the table. At this point I moved the chair against the wall and tucked her under the table. As we were finishing our coffee and food, we were asked to move because they had guests waiting. We had been there only 30 min, and there were many other tables of 2 sitting at a 4 tops who had been there just as long or longer. Again, no suggestions on where else we could sit. They actually offered to wrap up our uneaten pastries in napkins and provide to go cups for our beverages. We left, and a table of 2 took our place. No one else was was waiting for a table, and two people who were together were looking at the menu. Busier places handle table turn-over in much more customer centric ways. Food was fine; far from amazing and definitely not worth the horrible service. This was my first time at Moose & Sadies, and I will never, ever go back. My friend gets to-go food from them on a weekly basis, and was appalled. We are both very kind, polite people, and couldn’t believe how rude the staff was. Not baby friendly in the slightest bit.
Superb. We brunched at Moose&Sadie’s on a whim because it was close by and we were so happy with our decision, even though the outside seating was completely full. Congenial staff, unpretentious dining room, delicious and perfectly portioned food – we will return!
