Enjoyable space with good food. Cocktails were OK. Excellently balanced flavors in green papaya crab meat salad. Pastas not as good as nearby Bar LaGrassa. (Flavor of white truffle was lost in the risotto, and Spaghetti Nero was underseasoned.) Black Bass and Brussel Sprouts with Bagna Cauda were the stars of the show.

Never disappoints! This was my third visit here, first for dinner. My other visits were for brunch which were always excellent. It was about time for me to try dinner.I was hoping they would have a tasting menu; however, they did not. Menu looked pretty interesting however, with a lot to choose from. I ended up ordering the chilled corn soup that was accented with crouton and crab meat. Excellent! It was light and refreshing summer soup. However, at the same time the creaminess of it covered your mouth and gave a very nice mouth feel. Excellent. Oh, I said that already. My friend ordered the heirloom tomato salad that was done beautifully with skinned tomatoes, crispy bacon, feta, and watermelon jus. For entres, I wanted fish but ended up with the bison steak. It was also super fantastic. It was cooked medium rare with bone marrow bits, king mushroom, and corn pudding that was so creamy, garnished with the corn kernels. It was simply to die for. My friend ordered the garganelli pasta that was al dente and yummy with tons of pancetta. We also ordered the creamed spinach that was also delicious, except the cheese curds were super super salty. For dessert, I ordered the honey and cream cake to share. My friend was surprised I chose that because it sounded so plain and simple. She didn’t know that they got me at condensed milk ice cream. So good! There were meringue cookies and shortbread crumbles and compressed strawberries as well. They also gave us complimentary desserts of pate fruit, hazelnut macarons, pistachio biscotti, and a white chocolate piece. Dinner as expected was excellent. I thought brunch was good but dinner was even better. Great place! One of the best in TC!
