Unbeatable Service. Traditional southern cooking for brunch on Sunday but the most stand-out memory of Sunnyside was the service. The service, to be frank, was unbeatable. I felt like I was at home in Grandma’s kitchen with all of the attention and conversation we were provided while we there. In fact, I think we were shown more love by the chef and the servers than by my own Grandma. I would definitely come here again – if not for the food, for the people and the conversation.

Not to Good. I was very disappointed. Other reviews notwithstanding, my husband and I did not have a good experience. The brunch food was limited and just so so. Deffinately overpriced. The owner, although friendly, was more interested in gettting me interested in hiring him for catering rather than having an enjoyable meal. I don’t recommend this place.

Hidden gem in the metro that serves the states best fried chicken, collard greens and the rest of their menu is great too! They really care about the customers that they serve as the know we are what keeps them going.

Warm place!. Food very good but what makes Sunnyside regular dining destination is feeling of welcome, like I’ve been going there my whole life. Pictures of football, boxing, baseball, others on Photo Gallery Wall all have a story – just ask James!

Sunny side. The food is prepared by a Master Chef who caters for a living and opens this restaurant only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday more as a friendly service to his neighborhood and community. Tables are arranged to facilitate conversation with the ever friendly patrons who will soon be friends you have not met yet.The signature omelet is a treat for the eyes, nose and taste buds.my only caution, be hungry this is a meal! If you have the time start asking about some of the photos on the wall, Politicians, sports heroes, musicians all have found this hidden gem. I highly recommend Sunny Side.

Best down home breakfast. I love this place and the service is always on the Sunnyside. This couple works hard and cooks even better. I love it!
