Dissapointed, but will try it again before making a final decision. WARNING: Stay away from the pozole! It took 1 lime, chopped onions, salt and enough hot sauce to change the color to red. If a Mexican dish is so devoid of flavor that it takes this much effort to make it edible it’s not worthy of being called Mexican. Service was good but the food was bad. Jeff had the Cuban torta that was also bad. It included grilled hot dogs a thin slice of beef and flavorless chorizo. Michele ordered the cactus tacos (nopales) and she gave them a B. All the other reviews told me this place must be good but being born and raised in Mexico must have affected my taste buds. Please consider the source.

Authentic Mexican. What words can tell you- all in all authentic, everything is in spanish and the wait staf efficient and polite. I love their mexican tacos. I am not sure how they make a profit for as much seafood they have in the fajitas mixta. Salsa is a little different, but all in all it saves me a trip to Mexico to satisfy my cravings.
Accidental. My friend and I were walking down central looking for a restaurant that we never found and ended up at adelitas. What a great place to stumble upon. although there was no air conditioner and it was one of the hottest days of summer, the food was worth the discomfort. We both got veggie tacos and they came in doubled up corn tortillas (my fav, part of authentic mexican) and they had quite the humorous choice of spanish music videos on their tvs.
Amazing Guacamole!. I have been looking for a truly authentic Mexican restaurant….and now I have found one! I thought that after leaving Las Vegas I would never be spoiled with such wonderfulness again, and I was wrong. The guacamole is wonderfully fresh, and full of flavor. The Chili Renelleo is one of the BEST that I have EVER had! Definitely worth a try, and certainly worth every penny.
Adelitas is a good place for no frills but authentic Mexican. I used to prefer Chiapas across the street but moved to Adelitas when ownership changed over there. Service is quick, food simple, yummy and not so Americanized and the atmosphere is an upbeat neighborhood place.Plus they are open late. Decent choices for non-meat eaters.
