We ordered 2 entrees and 2 orders of appetizers. The spicy chicken with broccoli was really good, the house lo mein was decent but nothing special. The only reason I give it a 4/5 is because both the wontons (one pork and one cream cheese) had zero filling. Like zero. Would recommend, don’t be afraid of 5/5 spice!
Not authentic pho. While I will say that I’ve never had the privilege of visiting Vietnam, I really like Vietnamese food. I’ve never been to a place before that serves pho with iceberg lettuce and cilantro (not coriander leaves, but cilantro) as garnishes for the soup. The soup itself was just okay. There are so many good pho places in this city and in St. Paul, and none of them would be okay with iceberg lettuce, etc. Maybe the owners assuming that people don’t know what good pho is like or what it consists of. There aren’t many Vietnamese places near this neighborhood, and making good authentic pho (and advertising that) would probably make a lot of people more regular customers. As it is, I’m going to go a couple miles and get it somewhere else.
