Came here on a Saturday night with the wife. I like beer and beards as well so this place seemed like a slam dunk. I was right. It’s a really laid back vibe inside. Bartenders were super friendly and helpful. I feel like I talked to the dangerous man himself about growlers but can’t be 100% sure. The beer was really good. I tried the cream ale. It was super light and refreshing. A good departure from really heavy beers. My wife was super excited she found they had Prohibition Kombucha on tap. She liked it so much we drove around half of the Minneapolis st Paul metropolitan area to find bottles to bring back to Chicago. I didn’t eat at the food truck parked outside but thought that was a cool bonus since brew pubs like this generally don’t have food options in my experience. Great beer andKombucha on tap.
