Best Lebanese Food…. I was raised on Lebanese Food…my dad is lebanese. The kibbeh Nayye is amazing, like grandma made it. The tabolleh & fattosh salads are great. Stuffed vegetables are good as well. Best experience: sitting at a table…smelled a dish served to a fellow customer…reminded me of My grandma’s house…lubya…green beans & lamb stew…I had to change my order!! Emily does it right…don’t be afraid of this food..can’t miss for ambiance and taste.

A Favorite For So Many Years I Can’t Ever Remember My First Time There. But I do remember the place was a calm and inspiring. Many times there old scores were settled, an enemy became a friend, I sat once with a banker and a homeless veteran, a Jew who was a friend to me, a Christian and just plain looking out the window over a delicious Flat Bread and Tabbouleh.

Not fast service at all. Love, love, love their Tabouli Salad! That alone is worth the trip. Table seating is limited and it can get quite warm inside of the establishment. The service is not the greatest and it can be very slow so get it to go if you are in a rush. Other than that the food is good and it is a nice portion.

Customer. Whatever Emilys WAS in the past…it is no longer that. They must be skating by on their past reputation and ancient reruns of Diners Drive-ins and Dives. My family and I went to eat here 2-17-2014. Emilys was closed at 7:15 even though we checked their FB page and website prior to leaving and they both stated that they were open until 9:00. Since they are remodeling I went to the door to see if there was any information about a temporary closure or new hours. There was nothing posted. The employees who were visible inside ignored my knocking on the window and door, it was impossible that they did not see and hear me and my family. I then called the establishment and was unable to leave a voice mail message because their mailbox was full. I called again because I could actually see the employees inside. When they did answer the phone the treatment I received from a young male employee was incredibly rude and he explained that they closed early because they were not busy. (I wont go into the gory details but he was extremely ignorant. Hopefully he got his job because he is a family member because there is no way that this person should be on staff by choice). After he passed the phone to the manager she stated that they were closed because they ran out of tabouli, and that they frequently close early, and that we should always call before visiting them to make sure they are open. As my family and I were dining at a different restaurant, I received 2 prank calls from the telephone number belonging to Emilys (I assume they got my phone number from caller ID). After sharing my story on my Facebook page, a number of friends commented that they had the same issue and that they had (unfortunately) purchased a Groupon for Emilys and so far have been unable to redeem the coupon because of the early closures. I wonder if thats the game they are playing; closing early so they wont need to honor the Groupons that have already been sold. I wonder if they closed early because they were so slow, or because they were so busy that they ran out of tabouli? These people cant even figure out why they are closed early. Perhaps they are not busy because they are closed at dinner time…just a thought.

Good food, but missing the lebanese touch. Lived in Lebanon for some time, the taste is almost there, i think over time they just americanized it so it will be acceptable with everyone. over all it is average .

Wonderful. A friend of mine from the exurbs (!) introduced me to this place and I love it. Get outside of your comfort zone and try this place! It’s worth it.

Favorite Spot. We are semi- regulars here. You just can’t go wrong with the fresh and delicious food and funky, relaxed atmosphere. Best tabbouleh and hummus around and we always have to take stuff home from the deli. Love this place.
