Ehh. I have been going to holy land for years. way before the remodeling.. When it was just a little hole in the wall place. Back when the food was amazing.. The place itself had a home feeling, always loved going in there just for that reason. You come in and you see the regulars sitting in the back tables conversing over tea or coffee, It was a small cramped up place, but Ioved it. Now when I go in there I don’t feel that home feeling anymore. The remodeling took away that feel. It lost its touch. The food is good, but not as great as it used to be. They been focusing too much on trying to remodel the place and not really focusing on bettering their food. they’re trying too hard to fancy up the place and took away the welcoming home feeling.

Tasty food.. What can I say, great hummus, great falafel, tasty stuffed grape leaves…all the best in Middle Easter delights. And the lunch buffet deal, offering a plethora of things to choose from, is definitely worth checking out!

One of my favs. Grabbed lunch here yesterday. I have a thing for fast, authentic ethnic food. Not much of a burgers and fries gal. Holyland is a HIKE for me, but their hummus, pita, olives, and a small side of gyro (I eat about 1/3 and save the rest for my delighted hubby) with dates for dessert. Happy sigh. The olives alone are worth the drive.

Not bad if you don’t mind eating in a grocery store. Food is good except the chicken gyro. They also can’t make a decent Turkish coffee and should really take it off the menu.

Nothing Compares. I can’t find food that is as great as the food at Holy Land. Okay, so the place is small, but the food is great! I can’t wait every time I visit Minneapolis to eat here.
