  Beware new wristband cover charge. Food still good.. Introducing a $5 wristband / cover charge for Wednesday Dollar Drink Nights at the beginning of the wintertime lull does not seem to be a lucrative business model. If LUSH is suffering from a lack of weekday revenue, there are surely better ways to recover than this at-the-door shocker.My partner and I have been regaular Wednesday customers of LUSH, usually with several friends in tow, since we moved here this summer. We come for dinner as well as drinks, and our combined tab is usually over $100. We also come for Sunday brunch on a regular but less frequent basis. For the sake of an additional $5 per person your business risks turning off and turning away guests, losing far more income at a time when revenue traditionally takes a seasonal dive. Do you really want this?Please be aware that there are other venues catering to the same clientele that offer lucrative weekday specials, and a plethora of other non-club centric establishments with similar or higher quality food choices for a comparable overall cost. Judging by the considerably lighter crowd last night, your business already appears to be feeling the pinch of this new policy.We can fully understand implementing a wristband / cover charge in the summer, when the weather is pleaseant, the doors are all open and the patio is fully packed. Earn the additional revenue then to tide you over the slow period now. This is not the right time, and notice of the wristband cover charge has been furnished to our other Lush friends. We look forward to returning on Wednesdays once this issue is reconsidered. Thank you.

  Great place all around. I love this place. They have great food in the evenings, it’s a nice start to their great drink specials too. I LOVE that they use tockens for 2-for-1’s & 3-for-1’s. I don’t end up drinking warm drinks and there are many nights that I have gone back with tockens that I took home from the ast visit. This can make for a cheap night out with friends. The breakfast is wonderful. Although the mimosas are very expencive if you are driving. If you’re not driving then pay that $10 and drink up!

  Lush – Wonderful Staff. I love Lush because it has something for everyone in the GLBT community. They have nights focused towards women and nights focused towards men. I’ve been going there for almost two years now and have yet to hear a negative comment about this establishment.I’ve never been to a place where EVERYONE is so friendly! Everyone beginning from Tommy – the security guy at the door, to Nicole – a bartender, to West – a server, to Lindsay – a DJ, to Jose – a bar back…….it’s AMAZING!They have such an amazing bar staff! Especially Evan, Chris, Nicole, and Joel. Make sure you catch one of them and have them pour you a drink next time you’re there.
