This establishment condones homophobia and employees people that think it’s funny to openly GAY BASH THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS! Never again will I step foot in this establishment.

Ordered appetizers and they all were served to us cold. The place wasn’t busy at the time. Seems like the bitchy waitress was to busy to bring it to the table while it was still hot.

Roast Beef sammie. Not as good as it used to be, but still a hands down choice when I hit up this joint. I do not have input on the other food, because, well, the Roast Beef is just that good!!!

Great Birthday Spot!. I went to Mayslack’s Saturday night with about 15 friends to celebrate my birthday. I got there around 8pm and some friends had been able to snag a table right inside the door. It wasn’t just any table… it had 2 taps built into the center of it!!! Unfortunately, it was turned off for the night but I found out that you can call ahead and reserve the table. Awesome.I had a Reuben sandwich for dinner that was quite good. Friends got the chili cheese fries, mini corndogs, & cheese curds. All were deep fried deliciousness. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The crowd is a fun mix of older people and younger people. We got super lucky cuz the band that night was Hookers and Blow! If you haven’t seen them yet I highly reccommend it.I will definitely be back and I’ll be bringing friends and family along.

Trivia Night. Trivia night is anchored by a $0.35 wing special. The wings are great. Trivia Duche is not. This may be the worse trivia in the city. Even if you ignore the Ed Hardy duchieness of Trivia Duche the man, the actual trivia itself still sucks. Trivia Duche likes to begin his taxing job around 8:20-8:30, so some nights you get lucky and it only starts 20 minutes late. He is on the premises early enough but chooses to feebly slink around the bar to cash in his complementary beer. He is the type of guy that likely drinks a light beer. He quietly reads a question about every five to ten minutes. In the meanwhile, you will be entertained by his selection of music. This consists basically of a top 30s radio station’s playlist in 1994 with some pop-rap peppered in to keep it gangster. If the real Mayslack ever laid eyes upon this guy he would tear his head off and mail it to Summers Eve world headquarters.

What a treat!. I was brought here on a date, and told to order the original roast beef sandwich. I almost fainted when my food came! Wow, there’s the beef! It was so good, I could not stop eating this huge sandwich! It is so big you have to eat it with a knife and fork! Coleslaw is very good too.I love how they have garlic running all through this sandwich, helps keep the vampires away! Good beer specials too, very reasonably priced. Worth the trip everytime! This a place to go before you die!
