Great neighborhood place fit for Foodies! Great decor, professional and friendly staff. The menu has a variety of options and the combination of ingredients sound odd (scallops and BBQ sauce?) but they really work! The gnocchi was fresh and flavorful. They take reservations so it’s a great place to dine at before tickets at The Ritz.

Almost all positive. Overall, we liked this restaurant, though the one negative was within their control and should not have happened. Con:The blue cornmeal hush puppy appetizer, both the taste and experience, each of which could have been prevented. We told our server they were too salty for us to eat and to take them away. She told us that other patrons also had complained about them being too salty that evening. She explained that the amount of salt in chorizo, one of the key ingredients, can vary quite a bit. I cook a great deal and know this to be true, but also know the issue can be prevented by cooking a small amount and testing before seasoning, Also, with us telling her to take them away and others complaining, the restaurant should have offered some type of make-good. Instead, we ended up paying $10 for food we found inedible.Pros:Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a couple of the wines she recommended after hearing our preferences, both of which were quite good. The frisee salad was good quality, a nice combination of ingredients. For our entrees we had the beet tortellini and the seafood special, which was a stuffed calamari. Both were imaginative, high quality, and wonderful taste. The drinks and food started arriving promptly and were well paced, the water glasses also kept full. We skipped dessert but ordered the coffee which is done in very nice looking carafes and we enjoyed relaxing after dinner in the restaurant with our coffee. The atmosphere is neighborhood-y, which we like. The noise level is on the high side due to many people in a small place but we still were able to hear the conversation at our table without issue.

Happy hour!. I went with a friend after work, it’s on the way home. Friendly service with wonderful suggestions. The food was really good and happy hour prices are good for everyones wallet! We will be back!

Awesome. Service was spectacular. Flavor of everything we ordered was perfect. Try the pork/belly.

Sad birthday. I would prefer to write to the owners, but they don’t have email on their website. We went to northeast social last month and LOVED every bit of it. Great space, food, service. Absolutely fantastic. I turned 40 last Friday and my friend wanted to throw a party. Not being the birthday bash type I told her I would do a small gathering, how about Northeast Social? She made the reservation a month ago. We got to the restaurant and they said they lost the reservation. And couldn’t accommodate us. At all. Completely turned us away. Fortunately Erte took us in, just down the street. I’ll give them another chance, but would NOT trust making a reservation.

Dinner at Northeast Social. Just had a wonderful meal at Northeast Social. I had the sirloin with blue cheese mashed potatoes and my husband had the pink snapper. They were wonderful, perfectly cooked. For dessert we had a fantastic oreo and chocolate mousse pie. Everything was great. The only problem is the noise level in the restaurant but if you want excellent food this is a good place to go.
