Good food but incredibly slower than expected service. For cafeteria style ordering and food service, the sandwiches come out slow. Hot dogs are quicker since they are steamed hot dogs. But the times I’ve been there with a few friends, each person got their food at very different times. My friend didn’t get his food until the rest of us were done eating. Needs better employees that can multitask because I watched the grill man make only one order at a time instead of using the whole of the grill.

The Hardest Working Man In Show Business!. This is a great hot dog – burger spot. The real charm is sitting at the counter and watching the cook. Typically, only two people operate this place. The young lady who takes your order, gets your drink and takes your money up front, and the cook manning the grill who does everything else. It is amazing to watch the cook ply his trade. He has a million things going on and never misses a beat, yelling out the orders as they’re ready for folks to come and pick up. Also, check out the Nor’easter — a conglomeration of turkey, chees, peppers and I’m not sure what else all cooked on the grill and served on a bun. Mmmmm. Wish you could get a beer, though.
A great hole-in-the-wall hot dog shop! Have enjoyed the grub here many times. A true Chicago style dog shop. Close @ about 8 so lunch is the ideal time to go. Don’t really know what’s with the constant cartoons on the worst picture quality TV ever!
