I would come back, the service was fast and my sandwich was on a really delicous ciabatta bread, the veggies were fresh and I was happy. One of my companions has the new York pastrami and loved it. We sat outside and enjoyed the amazing fall weather (sunny and sixty in november!)
I thought this place was just okay. Boasting the best sandwiches in rochester, I expected to be blown away but unfortunately was not. They have everything you would expect from an assembly line type sandwich joint. Wouldn’t recommend it to a friend from out of town.
I went to the city market’s new location at the Brentwood on 2nd, I love a good soup and sandwich, I wasn’t familiar with the routine, start at one end of the line and move down, when I asked questions I felt inpatients, next, I love crackers with my soup, they don’t have crackers, and when asked what I wanted for a beverage I asked for ice water, well guess what? no ice water, or just water, I had to purchace bottled water, my bill was well over $15.00, but I had to buy bottled water, my soup was good, sandwich, mediocre….
