  Super Nachos are not that super… But They were not terrible either. Light on the white cheese… Almost kinda healthy. Both chicken and beef make for a fun adventure. Too much lettuce. Not enough guacamole. But a 5 1/2 outta 10

  Awesome Mexican food in Rochester the BEST!. My family and I would eat here every night if we could. Everyone that works at Dos Amigos is VERY friendly, they have always cooked our food the way that we have asked. They have a great menu and also serve american food if you are with someone that doesn’t want mexican food. The La Rancherita, Burritos Chuyin and the burito California are the best! We love Dos Amigos and everyone that works there.

  Wost Service Ever. I just finished a weekend of 12 hour shifts and had headed out to get a nice dinner and a cold beer with some friends. We arrive at Dos Amigos and are seated and fairly promptly asked what we would like to drink. Most of the table was getting an alcoholic drink of some sort and with each order an ID was asked for and for each ID a 5 minute examination of each ID ensued. Then the waiter rolls around to me and another friend with me and asks for our IDs. He looks at them and then leaves the table with them without saying a word. We sit there puzzled as he wanders around presumably thinking these IDs are either fake or we are under 21 which neither was true. He then returns about 10 minutes later and refuses to serve the two of us alcohol even though a simple calculation of our DOBs should have been sufficient in proving otherwise but his limited understanding of English was hard to get past to communicate this with the waiter and there was no manager on hand to discuss the matter with or anyone that thoroughly understood English. Even after this, another of our friends was carded 3 times before they were able to give her a drink, apparently the first time wasn’t enough. There was a little longer than usual wait for our food orders to be taken and when the food arrived, no one at the table finished their meals because the food was hardly up to par especially for the prices they were charging. I finished mine simply because I was hungry, tired, and wanted to at least get my money’s worth out of the whole ordeal. All in all it was as if we had stepped into a bad dream and couldn’t wake up, but it was worse than a bad dream because we had to eat what we had been served: overly dry chicken with poorly cooked onions, practically raw, on top in my case.I would not recommend, and if you have an out of state license and are looking for an alcoholic drink, I’ll give you a 50/50 chance of getting refused service simply because of ID illiteracy at Dos Amigos.

  Best yet. I’ve tried a couple other places in town and this is by far the best mexican joint around.
