Love this place! went there after the reviews. I am recently gluten free so eating out is sometimes rough. they brought us chips, I asked about them being corn. Luis, the manager on staff last night, explained that they were but would be cross contaminated due to the fryer. he instead broughtme fresh corn tortillas to enjoy with their salsa bar. I ordered the taquitos combo, he ordered the steak tacos. both were delicious, beans were great. all and all we will be back next time we are in Rochester

Exceptional customer service. A++!!! This was our first time at El Carambas and they were packed! We figured this was a good sign and we were right. Loved the atmosphere, loved the food, and we didn’t mind waiting because everyone who works there is so nice and accommodating. Muy bueno!
Food was very bland and served on styrofoam plates (that’s just lazy and bad for the environment)

Great Mex food, tasty and fresh, served on paper plates and fast as can be. Owner’s name is Eddie and he sponsors local sports teams and enjoys talking with visitors while they eat, he also runs the restaurant next door now, called OPA OPA(check that out too) Great all around food and a good price. Friendly place!
