The salsa tasted like watery ketch up. There was no flavor or texture to the salsa which set the meal off on a bad precedence. The service was very friendly and prompt. The food was ok. I do not know if this is a regular occurrence, but I did get sick off of their lettuce. This being said I probably will not eat there again, but if you happen to try it the queso dip was pretty good.

Not disappointing but not the best. Fiesta Mexicana used to be the only Mexican place in town, and it was fine. Now there are some better Mexican places (El Carambas and La Poblana), and Fiesta is still fine. Not usually our first pick, but we do still go on occasion for a change of pace. (Last time there, the salsa and chips weren’t as good as usual – hopefully that was just a bad batch – although judging from other recent reviews, it might be a new trend … that would be really sad b/c the salsa was really pretty good.)Revision 2014: After a couple more trips, I’ve changed my vote. My wife and I agree we will probably not go back – it’s just not the same as it was 15 years ago. It’s not nearly as good. … Really a disappointment, but there are too many other better options.

Generic Mexican Restaraunt. I wish there was a neutral choice for a rating. Like others, fond memories that the restaurant was the first to bring real Mexican food to Rochester almost two decades ago tilt the balance to a thumbs up.Service is fairly wooden. Margaritas are the standard green mix. There is nothing bad on the menu, but then again there is nothing particularly special. Enchiladas are a safe bet and I like the shrimp, bacon and cheese plate – admittedly the latter is pretty greasy.

What happened????. We used to go to Fiesta a few times a month, for the last 15 years, not sure what happened to their food and service, but it seems to have taken a turn for the worse!! Food was very bland and greasy, salsa tasted like it came out of a jar, and the wait staff didn’t seem very interested in doing their job. We also ordered fried ice cream and it was stale. Will not be making the trip across town anymore. They’ve lost the the service of some long-time customers. I can make better Mexican food at home!

Really likes it!! Great Mexican food. Very friendly with good customer service. We go here every time we visit Rochester. Our friends love to meet us here for dinner.

They used to pack orders carefully with foil and now just throw it in a stryrofoam box. Just not the same quality I remember. Disappointing.
