Better then many ice cream shops but at these prices they better be. We paid 3.49 for a single scoop and 5.49 for a double scoop. Service was meh, store was clean. Cute idea to serve in a bowl with mini cone on top but we had to request it and we only got one on my husband’s double scoop. Chocolate peanut butter: nice creaminess, rich chocolate; not much peanut butter and a bit sugaryMaple nut: good creaminess, light on the nuts, tasted like maple flavoring rather then maple syrup.

Who eats ice cream in Minnesota in January? The place is packed with kids and adults! With flavors like Zoo in the Goo or Cookie Monster (yes, it’s blue) and salty carmel sundaes, how can anyone resist? An experience to warm your heart.

Cookie Monster is so tasty! Never had a bad scoop of any flavor I’ve got though! Nice to get some real ice cream with real ingredients in town. On it’s own level in Rochester, which, before this, we had a choice of the 30+ ingredient DQ soft serve, the stale gummies and frozen shipped brownies ‘mixed-in’ at Coldstone, or the classic Mickey D’s drive thru cone. The door to the stockroom at Flapdoodles is usually open and you can peek at exactly what’s going into your dessert… having s’mores? Check out the golden maid grahams, jet-puffed mallows, and chocolate on the shelves… bought at a local grocery store, not shipped in. Kudos to someone following their ice cream dream. What a delicious result!!
