Good place to hang out. Fun environment with good food and beer. Met some friends with my wife and we had a good time. Cool interior and pleasant wait staff. Definitely going back.
Terrific Brew Pub. Great beer, great food, and friendly, helpful, prompt service. Nice execution of everything we tried. Homemade corned beef ruben, really creamy, tasty mac and cheese. Delicious Scotch ale on cask and yummy session IPA with citrusy hops. If you like beer and brew pubs this is a good bet!
GRBP. Excellent beer and food in downtown Rochester. The coconut stout, Scottish ale on cask and Nelson IPA are unrivaled. Favorite dishes so far are the beef and bird and original Ruben sandwich. Outdoor seating and great service were a plus. Growlers on Sunday and brunch.
CLOVE burger. Ordered a burger and the ground beef was overwhelmed by CLOVE. Oh and yes, did I say CLOVE, CLOVE, and more CLOVE. Couldn’t taste anything other than CLOVE. Supposedly there was a truffle aeoli but the CLOVE stole the show.Beer was good.
Very rustic feel. Love the glasses and the whole style of the restaurant! Family friendly and out server was great! Definitely a must go!
If you have low expectations this is the place for you. SLOW, SLOW, SLOW service- servers who don’t know the menu, cold food, orders wrong and forgotten,three requests for the bill, did I mention slow. Manager who loses patience with customer concerns and waitress who stops talking to customer, not our idea of a good time. Too bad cause the beer is good. Can’t wait for them to get growlers so we can drink elsewheres. Or a class in patience and timing. Enter at your own risk!
At least the beers are good. Was enjoying my lunch and new brews, until one of the workers came in with her dog. Not a helper dog mind you, just a small mutt that was allowed to roam even on its own being the bar at one point. Not sure I’ll be back.
