Great food, friendly service, awesome management. 5 stars any day!
Dish Yourself. They’ve got plenty of seating, conveniently in the mall near an entrance. I’ve never ordered off the menu, always dished myself. It’s fun to look at the sauces you can make and create a new dish every time you go up. I suggest to load up on meats/veggies and make smaller servings so you can try making it different ways and experience something new each time you sit down with your creation.

As good as you can make it. Been here a few times as part of a large group, and it serves the purpose for what it is – cheap(ish), mainstream Asian food. If it comes out tasting rubbish, you’ve only got yourself to blame as you’re putting in the ingredients! If you take a little time to think about what you’re chucking in the bow, then you can get something decent and tasty. Service could be a little sharper, but then again, where couldn’t it? You’ll get what you’ve gotten, can’t blame it on the chefs/service!!!
Only One Thing Wrong. Judging from the lines on a Sunday afternoon, HuHot is a popular place! It’s our family birthday place…whenever someone at our house has a birthday, this is where we all want to go. We usually go for lunch if possible, because going as a family at dinner time can be a little price-y. We’ve never been unhappy with the food, in fact it’s hard to stop at two plates.The only thing wrong with HuHot is that Rochester doesn’t have two of them. We need one on our end of town. Like them on Facebook or go to their website for coupons.
Fun place good food. Its a fun place to go to and a good atmosphere. as other reviews say you pick your food from a food bar and bring it over to the grill. Watch them cook and prepare your food and bring it to your seat. The food is very good and its cool experimenting with the sausces. Never had a bad plate and ate there four times. just make sure you have about 6 scoops of sauce so the food isnt dry. Workers and waiters will help out if needed. Very good place but I wish they had other foods part of the buffet instead of on the menu else it gets pricey. I mean you can only have so much noodles. Good place non the less!!!
I have visited the Rochester MN location roughly 8-10 times since it opened. The service is terrible. But the food is good. Tonight I attempted to visit and after being seated by the hostess we waited for upwards of 10 minutes and ended up leaving due to no server waiting on us. Worst thing is that this is the second time that we have left in past couple of years for this very same reason.
