Not so good. Dont these people think we can tell there isnt any garlic in the garlic sauce? The base of the sauce was sweet and sour sauce. I dont get sweet and sour because my sugars run a little high. I have been stir frying for years, maybe I should open up an oriental restaurant. At least my descriptions of the dishes would be accurate … truthful. At least the duck was duck … I think.
Dubious health standards. I am reporting Imperial Wok to the state Food and Lodging division. They keep the front doors open from the time they open until they close at night, despite temperatures that reach into the 90s. Every business in the strip mall has air conditioning – they should be using theirs. We quit eating there after they suddenly changed owners overnight and the food and employees went from great to poor. Eat at your own risk.
Pretty average, like the rest, however…. It is a good take-out restaurant. The price is decent and the food is good for the basic Chinese cuisine standard. The main reason I go is their acceptance of credit cards. Most of them do not accept credit cards and are replicas of the other restaurants. I am convinced many run off the same owner. Imperial Wok is not one of those and remains a great place to grab a meal while waiting for a Walgreen’s prescription or a barber appointment.
I loved this place when they first opened… they had the best take out Chinese in town.. I’d go get it once a week… now they must have changed there suppliers or something cause now I went there and the food tastes cheaper and less quality .. I wont go back unless they change it back but I wont know that since I wont go back till then.
The best ever. Was in Rochester for a week, for work. ate here twice once in the restaurant and once delivery. Both times the amount of food was massive. their sesame chicken is to dies for, so is their shrimp in lobster sauce. heck i even hung up once or twice when ordering delivery because their accent was so strong i thought i called the wrong number haha
No rice. We are not from this area and a chinese restaurant that delivers for free?? GREAT!!! We had read the reviews and were sceptical, but we had leftovers so we took a chance. I had the seasame chicken it was a little sweeter then i have normally had but good, springrolls were good like some others said a little under seasoned but the best part was they forgot our white rice and after an hour and three phone calls later they showed up to give me my over cooked rice with my cold food. My husband on the other hand was happy he had his fried rice delivered and his crab ragoons were good. His only complaint his fried rice had no egg and his pork egg roll had no pork. my recommendation if you are hungry enough and stuck in rochester like we are then yea go ahead.
Mother of three. I like their free delivery service, food is decent. package is clean every time I get my food, that tells a lot how they take care of food, and customers.
