Got to get my Gen Tso at least 1-2x a week here! Great food and a fair price. Just wish ANY Chinese place in town allowed any substitution! For instance, sub a soda for an egg roll on dinner specials. Don’t they know a soda is $.02 and an egg roll costs more??? I’m trying to help them out!!! Lol
Wonderful. This little restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Very consistent, I have always had fresh, clean, amazing food from this place. The prices are very good for the quality of food you are getting. If you are looking for delicious, authentic, Chinese food in Rochester – You have to try New China.
Good, cheap, quick Chinese. It’s a great little place for quick take-out. The restaurant itself is rather small, with 6 or so tables but clean. The food is good, and lunch comes with 2 crab rangoons and soup and is generally between $5-7. They’re always fast, but it’s fresh (you can clearly see the kitchen from the cash register and you can watch them make your order right after you’ve placed it.) They also have dinner specials usually $6-8. While Hunan Garden is more of Rochester’s good sit-down places, New China is a good little place for cheaper, quicker, good Chinese.
