I really like this place. Very good food. Reasonable prices. Comfortable, clean, casual place. Located in a strip mall essentially. If you venture out away from the downtown area a bit, this is a good place for a casual, reasonably priced Greek meal.
This place is very good. If you are looking for a quick pickup order that is good quality and cheap, this is the place. I got a chicken pita and my wife got a gyro pita. Both very good. Also, their hummus is fresh and pita is warm and soft. Good stuff
Amazing!!. After reading about Nupa online, we decided to give it a try. Wow!! The flavors and food at Nupa were amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there twice during our stay in Rochester. We tried some of the side dishes (falafels, rice wrapped in grape leaves) and we also had the gyros with the salad (lunch special). Highly recommend trying this place out, you won’t be disappointed.
Good. It’s just plain good. I come here at least once a week for lunch. The distance from Mayo and the speedy service makes this an excellent place to go with coworkers over the noon hour.
One word.. FAST
WONDERFUL place. I’m from out of town and stopped by with my mother for a quick bite to eat on a Sunday afternoon – Nupa seemed to have the best reviews among any place in Rochester. The reviews were right! The GM, Moe (sp?) immediately greeted us with a smile and told us to take our time choosing what we’d have. He recommended the pea and mint soup, so I got that in the soup/salad combo including drink for $8. My mom had the spicy chicken feta pie with salad as well, and Moe brought us some falafel to share. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS, clearly made from scratch there, and well-balanced/healthy without sacrificing your taste buds! Based on our experience, you couldn’t go wrong with anything on the menu. So, in summary: truly house-made authentic Mediterranean food with friendly, courteous, attentive service in a clean place with quick service. We will be back!
