Best Greek food in Rochester at a very reasonable price. Restaurant used to be a small convenience store and looks smaller from the outside than it actually is. Nice patio area too for when the weather is decent. We’ve been regulars here for some time now, definitely recommend!
The staff was very helpful, friendly and appreciative of my business. The food was good and the fries are amazing! I am happy to have a Greek option on the SE end of Rochester. I will be back!
LOVE IT. I used to go to Zorba’s all the time but the owner was rude and changed all the ingredients and keeps raising the prices. I tried Opa Opa and I’m HOOKED. A lot of the same food (but better) and a lot of different items as well. The atmosphere is clean and friendly and you can’t beat the prices. I will be a regular here.
Decent Greek for Decent Price. The guys and I had lunch here the other day, and we liked it. Eddie is working hard to serve a great meal, and I think he is on the right track. The #12 is great and the signature Opa Opa appetizer (flaming cheese) is FABULOUS! A must try.I am not a huge Greek fan, but I enjoyed it. And with Eddie behind the counter, what’s not to like?
Not impressed. This might not be the place to go for a quiet sit down meal – we ate inside on a Tuesday evening, but the staff was too rushed and noisy. Despite that, they were friendly and provided good service. The food was fine, but not great. It is not very impressive to watch the cooks pouring the salad dressing onto the Greek salads because it looked like a bottle of WishBone dressing or something you would buy from any grocery store. They might need to rearrange things a bit so that the patrons do not have to watch all what’s going on, including waitresses continually dumping garbage, which is right by the register. We were disappointed, and probably won’t be going back.
Good Food. I used to go to Zorba but the service was bad…and than i heard about a new greek place. . The food is just like Zorba’s but cheaper and with more choices …and i am so happy i got a new greek place to go to. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
Blah!!!. The food quality was just not there, it was a horrible experience all together. Sure, they are a new restaurant and they have bugs to work out in regards to the service and the amount of time it takes them to put out food, but since the food was horrible I don’t think that I will be giving this place another try. The owner is doing great with El Carambas, he should stick to Mexican food.
