One of the newest additions to the Rochester restaurant scene. Serves proper fried chicken as their signature meal. Plenty of other meats to chose from. Orders are meant for sharing – family style. A dozen choices for sides. The decor is very nice. Servers are very good. Parking on site. Love this place!
Interesting concept. Focus is on shared meals (chicken & smoked meats) though single a la carte menu items are also available. Casual but still somewhat upscale. Nice, large porch dining area available – though a bit loud with the nearby roadway. We had the 4 piece chicken (butter and lemon to spread on top was a different and good taste) + single order of cowboy potatoes. Plenty of food for two people. Fried chicken being one of the stars of the menu, I was expecting much better – we ate an early lunch – maybe it was the chicken from the night before? Still, we had an enjoyable meal though I wouldn’t rate it as top notch.
This place is delightful! While small, it boasts a menu of things I promise you haven’t eaten elsewhere! The cold BBQ Carrot salad is a pleasant surprise in its refreshing goodness. The mashed potatoes and gravy certainly live up to the hype – they simply rock! The brisket was among the best I have ever had! And the biscuits with honey butter? Astounding! Parking is tight – even by Mayo standards, but well worth the effort. You simply will not be disappointed!
