Not what I expected. Overpriced, average service, underwhelming food taste and presentation. NOT fine dining. Crab stuffed chicken breast looked like a frozen dinner and crab meat stuffing lacked flavor and had fishy smell and taste. Side of garlic vegetable rice was uneventful and needed help to blend flavors. Bread basket brought to table was good but never refilled nor did the server tell us if the breads are house made or not but apparently are for sale to take home if you request as observed by another guest purchase. For fine dining I would expect white linen table cloths not faux wooden tables with metal/wood backed chairs. I would not recommend this to visitors or friends nor do I expect to go back.

Just good food done right. I visited Prescott’s twice in the past month and each time it was a fine dining experience. I rerely go to the same place so close, but it was worth it. The staff is wonderful and attentive. The food was well prepared and presented beautifully. I had both salads and soups and both were done perfectly. On one occasion I had the Walleye and it was well cooked with a wonderful sauce complimenting it. I had risotto on another, something I rarely order and was pleasantly surprised. While there are many choices to eat out in Rochester, Prescott’s has to be considered one of the finest. Wish they had a bar…but the wine list is well served.

Good food. The atmosphere here is nothing special. The food here was really good, however. Yes, you will spend at least $20 per entree, but portion sizes are generous. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. They take pride in their locally grown produce.

Expensive but great food and service. The portions are large. I have half my entree left for lunch tomorrow.

My girlfriend and I always have dinner here during Gold Rush Days. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient, the food is always delicious with great presentation. Portions are just right. Many healthy food choices. We will be back next year!

Rochesters Best???????. I find Prescott’s food and service to be less than mediocre. The prices they command far out weigh the quality of the food and service. Don’t be fooled by the numerous awards!

Food is OK and over-priced. Half 70’s diner/ half wine bar. Numerous awards make me question Rochesterites taste in food and atmosphere.
