Pure Awesome.. Pulled pork, jojo fried, awesome sause, dam good root beer and really really cool people – what more could you possibly ask for. This is THE place I get my BBQ when I am in Roch. Do it.

True Crockpot Barbecue!. Before I delve into the fierce Rochester BBQ war, let me state… I don’t mind, nay, I even like Roscoe’s. Is it barbecue art? Um, no. It tastes like crockpot barbecue made with a jar of Ken Davis sauce. Nothing that you can’t get at about 50 thousand other places.However, it’s inexpensive, it tastes good, and the atmosphere is kind of like having a grill in a big driveway. Pull up a picnic table and slap some sauce on your shirt beforehand because some will get there anyways. They sauce their meat with a firehose here, which is not a bad thing with the included wet-nap. This is bargain barbecue, which at times is just what the doctor ordered. Some may weigh in that it’s the best but eh, this is Minnesota where folks use ketchup in chili. Take that for what it’s worth.Still thumbs up! If this were the only BBQ in town, I could still be happy.

I have been eating at the original since I was a child in the early eighties! I love the little orange building almost as much as the food! Sit inside or out… The is NO place like it in Rochester! If you love a sloppy burger with fries at least once in the summer , you have to get the double bacon & cheese!
