Love Snappy Stop. Snappy Stop is much better than any of your fast food restaurants. Their burgers are always less greasy than McDonalds and their home made fries easily top other fast food chains. I always prefer local businesses compared to the national chains, and Snappy Stop easily out performs all of them.
Just Great!. It is the best local burger in Rochester. If you haven’t had it you should!
Trust the likes, not the reviews. As a Rochester native who commonly ate at Snappy Stop at least a couple times a month for about 20 years, I would suggest you pay more attention to the 80% likeability versus the two bad reviews from people who really seem to like both hearing themselves talk and being overly dramatic.I never had a bad experience, loved the burgers, loved the fries; and the homemade ice cream sandwiches are still legendary within my family. If it turns out not to be your bag, I won’t be offended, but definitely give it a try – we certainly will next time I’m back in town!
South Broadway Snappy Stop. I’ve never eaten at the newer 55th st. snappy stop, but the south store has consistently been a favorite of mine since I was in high school. You’ll never wait for more than 2 minutes for your food, and the french fries are the best in Rochester, hands down. I’ve read the previous reviews posted here, but have NEVER had a bad experience…and honestly have probably eaten here 50+ times in the last 10 years.
Just Don’t. Coming from the west where this type of doulde drive through is common and generally good (in the greasy but very flavorful it’s going to clog my arteries sense) and almost addictive. I was eggar to try this place. I was soon sorry…It was not at all what I expected. The bun was stale like it came from the day old store. The patti was unidentifiable, it was supposed to be beef, but was tough, had no flavor beyond a strange sourness that made me fear food poisining. The fries were something to behold, the bag was only about 1/2 full but none the less some were grease soaked with a frozen center, other were a dark blak brown with an unyielding crust. Some were limp and warm an most were limp and cold. I won’t be back… I live and am happy… I don’t test fate.
