It’s loud and annoying. The food is mediocre at best. I’ve been here twice and hated it both times. If you’re tempted to try the pizza, you’re better off with a Tombstone pizza from your grocer’s freezer case.
Never again!. Went there for dinner, our party was passed by two wait staff, too busy to seat us. Sat at bar for one drink, which took forever, then again tried to get a table for dinner. Waitress was too busy flirting with some guys to notice customers. Wake up Blondie, and go to Walmart for a job. We walked out. Stay away from this joke of a restaurant, and we use that term very loosley.
Love/Hate. I really, really love every dish I have tried there, but the service is so slow and the servers are very snotty and stuck up.
Getting worse. My first visit here when it opened was exceptionally good. But since then, it’s gone downhill pretty fast! The staff is incredibly inattentive. We sat at a table for a good 20 minutes without getting any service the last time I was there, so we left. The time before that, I had to flag down a waitress running by, and she informed me we weren’t in her section and we ended up just ordering drinks from the bar instead when nobody came by and continued not to come by for the remainder of our time there. My only positive experiences here have been in the AM hours for breakfast and lunch. After that, I wouldn’t bother unless you want overpriced drinks with dance music and a strict dress code later on in the evening.
Love this place!. I am totally shocked by the bad reviews on here. Given the fact that this place is packed for dinner most evenings (and pretty busy at lunch too), I am assuming that the masses of people that love this place have chosen not to spend the time reviewing it. I have been here around 7-8 times and have been very happy with my experience. Unlike other reviewers, I’ve never had an issue with the wait staff. Yes, they are all young and overly good-looking women, but I haven’t found any of them to be noticeably bad, and I’m always tough on servers, looking a reason to scrimp on the tip! The atmosphere is clean and modern. I love the water bottles they drop off on your table to allow you refills throughout the meal, though they often come back and fill your glass themselves too. The food (with the exception of one app we got once that is no longer on the menu) has always been superb. The burgers come with delicious fries, and if you opt for the side salad you actually get a delicious, fresh, modern salad. I’ve also had their pizza and found it to be flavorful and yummy. My husband and I love to get their quinoa burger and yellow jacket pizza and split both — the portions are generous and we leave full and satisfied. The burgers come on delicious, toasted buns loaded with great toppings. You can pick from a wide selection of REAL cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, gouda, etc). I’ve been here with extended family multiple times and everyone has been happy with their meal. The beer selection is pretty good too!Ignore the old crabby reviews and give this place a try!

Lunch, anyone?. My experiences at The Loop for lunch have been very good. The menu is different enough to make the journey worthwhile. I particularly like the pizza with roasted green chiles, and thieir variations on mac-and-cheese. The service is also good… no complaints here! I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The prices are above average for Rochester. I have never been to The Loop in the evening… I think it may have a different personality then.
