Little gem. I hesitated to go to a hotel-associated restaurant, but this place is great. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the wait staff have always been capable, if not great. The menu changes a bit which I appreciate. Their small plates are fun to get and share with a group, though the majority of them are some form of chip or fried object which can get a bit old (our first time there we stupidly ordered three small plates, all with tortilla chips and were sick of it by the end). It seems like they are working on this, since every time I’ve been there lately there are new, fresher items on that list. I’ve also had their butternut squash ravioli which was delicious, though the portion was quite small for the price. Their parmesan polenta is delicious, though again maybe a bit overpriced (especially since I get it without the pork). They serve yummy bread and butter with your meal which I always appreciate. My family loves the fish and turkey sandwiches too. i have had family members do the cook-your-own meat on the hot rock, and generally they have been disappointed by the cost to portion ratio, so I would avoid that unless you don’t mind paying for the novelty of a hot piece of granite on your table. Generally speaking, a great restaurant.

First time. I went here for the first time last night. It was great! The inside is beautiful- nice atmosphere, clean, tastefully decortated. I was impressed by the menu; lots to pick from and a nice variety, and not too pricey. I had the bbq pork sandwich. Sauce was thick, tangy, and had a little spice to it. It was very messy, so eating it with a fork was my best option. My sister had the turkey/apricot sandwich. It was served on cranberry bread. It was wonderful; full of flavor. She also got the sweet potato fries…best I’ve ever had; they practicly melt in your mouth. I can’t wait to take my husband here and try something new.

Vast menu, good food. I recently visited Twigs from out of town when I was back in Minnesota visiting family. I was very happy to see a restaurant in Rochester offering such a large amount of gluten free items! That is not very common!Since I cannot eat wheat, I love it when I can get a burger gluten-free. Twigs’ was very good. The service was pretty slow, but it was very busy that night and our waitress was quite nice.

It was okay.. I don’t know what all the hype is about, the food is okay but not great. I had the gluten free philly cheesesteak. The bread was good but meat underseasoned. I wouldn’t go back for it again. I got Sweet Potato spuds as well and those were just gross. They were cold and soggy, definitely not fried long enough. I ate two spuds and pushed them away.

Dark and Dirty table and chairs. We spent $50 for a 6oz steak, small portion of Ribs, Dr. Pepper and a drink. This is a very expensive place to eat and it’s not worth it. It was so dark that you can’t even see your food or who you are eating with. Our table and chairs were so sticky that my hair was stuck to the back of the chair when I tried to stand up and my arms were glue to the arm rest. To top it off….we had to wait 25 minutes just to get our food.

I visited Twigs for a date night with the hubs on a cold winter evening, and let me tell you–that hot rock was worth every penny. It was like sitting next to a cozy fire. The food was fine; nothing to complain about but not memorable. Nice atmosphere.
