Horrible service mediocre food.. On a recent trip to Mayo we decided to try Wild Bill’s. First off the place was not busy at all. One quarter capacity at most. The greeters ignored us for a few minutes and talked about their friends and boyfriends before deciding to seat us. They then took a few minutes to figure out where they were putting us. It took the waitress about 10 minutes to even come to our table to take our drink order. It took them another 10 to take our order. The food did come out in a relatively decent amount of time. The food was average at best when it came to the wife’s meal. Half of my buffalo wings had no meat and were just fried bones, and my ribs had literally 1/8 inch of meat on either side. I would have complained if I thought it would have mattered. We also never got a refill or had anyone come by to check on us. We paid our bill and went to leave and once again got to listen to the greeters talking about their boyfriend and how they make out with them. They didn’t so much as smile or wave to us as we left. This place should have some self respect and close down. I wouldn’t take a free $500 gift card for the place.
Bad service will ruin this place!. I’ve been to Wild Bill’s 3 times. Twice for breakfast and once for supper. Each time the service was bad. The breakfast food is good, which is why we’ve tried it twice, but the last time we went was the final straw. The breakfast consists of you ordering selected items and the waitress brings you out unlimited plates. The waitresses had no idea what was going on. They couldn’t keep up with everyone, so it was slow going to begin with. Finally we got our first plate. Well, my husband ordered a second plate….we waited 20 minutes and then told the waitress to bring us our bill because we were leaving. She went and got the manager who apoligized and comped my husbands meal and brought his plate of food. i guess i just don’t get why it took so long….shouldn’t all the food be prepared? All they have to do it dish it up? The dinner food was okay….not worth the bad service.
Breakfast items substandard.16 Mar, 2013The bourbon teriyaki glaze on my burger was good, perhaps a bit too much bourbon, but good. The chili was delicious although not spicy as our bubbly server described. The pot pie had waaay to much rosemary in it, hopefully someone just slipped while prepping it and that’s not the usual amount.Service took a while but we could see our server running back and forth, doing her best, as other servers chatted.I will definitely go back for another meal rhough!
I expected to hate the place.. I expected to have a cheap version of a TGIFridays with an even worse flair theme serving overpriced industrial food. Yes, the flair/decor is horrid but they have a quite good beer list. They also have the entire restaurant surrounded with TVs so the sports bar capability is half-way decent. As far as food: the burgers are quite good, the wings, ribs and hot-dip are better than Applebee grade. I find the prices reasonable enough, especially if you like one of the daily specials, to move this place into the like-it category.
Price reflects quality Chea…. Price reflects qualityCheap food equals cheap taste
Ho! Hum!. I found the Food mediocre at best. Just another over dressed chain restaurant knock off…
Need to Step It up….. Arrived at 7:30pm with my wife and 2 kiddos, were promptly sat in a nice booth in the back. So far so good. We had one waitress take our drink order (after 15-20 minutes) and it seemed like we were a HUGE distraction to her and she could care less that we were sitting there… Kids got their POPS in about 2 minutes (GOOD DEAL) We waited about 10-11 minutes for our beers (BOOOO!) At this point our real waitress took our order and we were off to the races, first apps Con Queso Chips Lott’s of chips and dip…But the dip was Luke warm… (OK, Kinda getting bummed) Waitress was attentive and very kind and bubbly (Props) Waited 45-55 minutes to get our order, kids got wings and a burger, burger was supposed to be MED-Well…was red and bloody in middle, but hey, it was there so he ate it…our order was wings, BONELESS, we got BONES…. So here we are watching our kiddos eat and waiting to get our correct order, waitress was prompt getting the correct order out, but we were surprised to see that despite the train wreck we had stumbled into the manager had no inclination to adjust our bill despite sitting there for over an hour waiting on our screwed up order….. So to sum it up, it was a disaster, the waitress did the best she could after taking over for miss congeniality, but it was down hill from there…. Sad to say this is one experience that is just one of those you may not forget….. Really see no reason to return….
