Excellent. My husband and I are so glad to have found such a gem in the sea of boring resteraunts. Absolutely must order the won tons! They are so good we could order 1 each! We have only been twice and i can only attest to the fish and chips but its soo good. Its in an odd area but when you go inside the food completely takes your mind off of the outside. It can get really busy around 6pm even during the week. The happy hour specials were great too. I cannot wait to try more new things off the menu.
Not impressed. This place was highly recommended by a local friend so was executing better. Service was very slow. 10 minutes to get my salad and then waited another 10 to get my ribeye steak. It was ordered med but was rare and cold on the middle. I waited 5min just to flag down my waitress. After another 15 min the same steak came back well done. Looked like they just stuck the plate under a broiler and left it. Never did see a manager but the waitress did comp the steak. She said they have a new cook that is struggling with getting steaks right.
Commenting on Jim’s Post. I am a regular at RJ’s and I have yet to have a bad experience. The doors say they open at 11am, which they do, but it does not say a closing time. They are a small restaurant. I do not expect them to be open late. Their happy hour specials are great, cold $2 beers, how can you beat that?!? And even if their kitchen is closed, the pizza’s are just as amazing. Everything is fresh. Next time you stop in, I recommend trying the RJ’s House pizza Hand tossed.
Very Dissappointed. Drivers stay away from this place..Online their menu says happy hour at 2 times the last from 9pm to close…..actually it is what they set. Wanted the $8 item but was told not available. Bartender lied when she it was not served at this time, when confronted with the truth ( dinner,happy hour and drink menu available online) Was told kitchen closed at 9pm..Funny… the sign out front says they close at 11pm. Spent $4 for a beer my fault knew it but WOW
Great Stop. Good stop in route from Wisconsin Dells to Fargo. A little hard to find, just behind the Cat Scale Truck Area on Clearwater Road. Great atmosphere, Awesome Turkey Sandwich served on a freshly baked roll. I highly recommend this for a better than usual travel stop.
Incredible Food. Every time I’ve eaten here I’ve NEVER been disappointed and neither are those I’m dining with. A great array of menu items and all seem to be delectable. You must try this restaurant. If I could change one thing about RJ’s it’d be the location, but don’t shy away because of it. 🙂
Great Happy Hour. This is a great place for happy hour. They have good drink specials and their flat bread pizaa’s are at a reduced price during happy hour. I have gotten my belly filled for under $10 on several occasions
