  Contemporary American. Stopped in with clients on business to St. Cloud (referred by a local). Its located at the end of a strip mall, but when you walk inside, it has a classy upscale feel. Service was quick and friendly. As this was a business lunch, server (Angie?) was efficient without being obtrusive. Food was really, really great. Ordered two salads, a burger, and grilled salmon entre. Salads were nicely done with freshly grilled chicken on top. Burger had great Minnesota blue cheese. My salmon had a spicy (slightly) rub that was finished with maple syrup?, vegetable pilaf, and green beans. Our table was quiet as everyone enjoyed their plates. Server came back to offer dessert (made on-site), but will have to come back for raincheck. Only complaint was table was wobbly, and rocked several times during stay. Really great find, will be back again

  Could not eat!. I visited here before and had a burger it was good. This time ordered off the dinner menu. The mashed potatoes were whipped so much they were just a starch paste. Had the ribeye cooked medium. It was very tough, hard to cut with steak knife and no flavor but the sauce they put on it was horrible. I tried to scrape it off but it was just not edible. Broccoli was the only part I could eat.

  A Mistake. I was recently in St. Cloud MN. for an over night stay & decided to try RJs American Grill for dinner because itwas located near my hotel,Amber V. was our server & was very attentive & gave good service,i started withthe beef bites appetizer,which is pieces or tenterloin with a horseraddish sauce,i ordered it rare,it came outover cooked,at $10, it was sent back,the second batch was cooked rare as ordered & very good.The Entree is where things went bad,i ordered the Bourbon pork chop which came with two sides,so i went with the au gratin potatos & the risotto,both were very under cooked, crunchy potatos & under cooked rice with no seasoning, the chop was cooked alright but was very tough,the bourbon sauce was burnt on to the plate &was hard as a rock,.at this point RJs was a mistake,i did not eat this meal,i paid the bill & left never to return.P.S. If you are going to sell a higher end menu in a burger-pizza place Learn how to cook it properly.
