I’ve been here several times with my family and we always find it enjoyable. None of us have ever had a situation where there was something wrong with our food or order, it’s always a good experience.
We have been there twice, once when it first opened and then one more time a year later. Both times the service was very slow and the food was not very good. The staff did not seem to know what they were doing and many were just standing around. I wish I could say that this place was better but after two times going there, I am convinced it is consistently disappointing.
FUN & ORIGINAL..GOOD FOOD. I came to the galaxy for the first time, last week because a friend had told me about it and wouldn’t shut up about how cool it was..I loved the grounds immediately…really cool retro rocket ship, brass statues, a life sized chess board, scarecrows and fire pits for making smores if you so choose. I was greeted by a perky server and the food wasn’t bad. The red velvet shake was amazing! Overall a fun and enjoyable dining experience.
Tear the place down and make it residential. First I know that is not going to happen, but we will not be back, tried them out once when they opened and then again this year. The food is ok at best malts are not as good as when the place had different owners and went by Wagner’s Drive in nor are the burgers giving the food names with space themes does not make the food taste better. The owners should have stuck with the theme and food Wagner’s had. I will drive up to the Wagner’s off of 81 and 694 then eat here again.
We had to come and see this galaxy was like. We heard about this one sueing the galaxy DINNER in apple valley over the name. This galaxy drive in is as bad as the law suit. Apple valley galaxy has great food and NOT connected to this one in any way. We will stick to the one in apple valley food and service is a lot better–even if they have to change their name due to this jerk!
Third time… still not a charm. My husband and I went to the drive in twice last summer. Our service was so bad the first time we got a coupon for a free burger. When we went back for the free burger (and other food) the service still was bad, and the food is no better than a DQ. I went the the Drive-in again thinking this year might be better. Not a chance, food is still so-so at best. Also a soda (20 oz) was $2.50, and NO REFILLS!!! Don’t bother, over priced, poor service, and so so food.
Shockingly Terrible!. 1st I had not read any reviews on this place so I could make up my own mind.My family and I decided to go out for some ice cream something I didn’t think could get messed up. My daughter can be a bit messy so we asked to have her ice cream in a cup. We also ordered a cone, banana malt, and vanilla w/ oreos. After about 5 minutes an empty cup shows up.After asking where the ice cream and rest of order was at they said we must have lost the order. The car next to us gave us a little laugh as they were having trouble as well.Meanwhile that same car received their food. One bite into there chicken and it was raw like it had just come out of the package. It appears they dropped it in the fryer just to brown the outside and decided to serve it… completely unacceptable.At that point I was really glad we were only having ice cream. Well it finally arrived and I took one bite of my malt and just about gagged. I took one more to make sure I wasn’t just imagining the terrible taste that I was experiencing. Besides my rubbing alcohol like flavor malt the others in our car were complaining about the weird texture and taste of there ice cream as well.Never have I been to a restaurant that had it all terrible service, terrible prices, and terrible food. We through our food away and didn’t complain because when the food is this bad nobody cares about making it better. I look forward to this place going out of business and will tell everyone I meet that this is the worst food spot in all of the Twin Cities… I can only say it was shockingly terrible!
