Worst service ever and it wasn’t even busy. I won’t be back.
Will not return. I played softball for the Park Tavern back in the 80s. I spent a lot of time with my baseball time during that period of time and do you think that Phil would ever stop and get us a table touch. No! To this day I still did not see him give any table touches unless he knows you well. The servers are very slow and talk all the time the food is mediocre and the atmosphere is okay. I think the food is way overpriced. I would not recommend anybody to pick their family friends there for a really good time
Great food, Limited Parking, Tilted Pool Tables…. 10.10.14 Update:I am impressed. In less than a week after my review, the owner of Park Tavern, Phil, reached out with an email to discuss the pool table we were playing on. This explains why I have always enjoyed this place. His attention to detail shows in so may ways. My guess is ill be back watching the Wild and playing darts (maybe take another shot at the pool table…lol) soon. I also forgot to mention that the greeters who checks ID’s are always friendly and set the tone for a fun time.10.3.14 : I have been coming here to eat and bowl for many years. The biggest issue is parking. This is a busy place. The business lunch crowd gives way to the after work crowd followed by the bowling or bar crowd. The food is always excellent bar food. The bowling lanes are top of the line quality. The Sunday morning buck a game is always a hit with families. The bar located within the bowling lanes has five dart games plus four pool tables with plenty of televisions playing your favorite sports. The reason for three stars and not four stars are the pool tables. At $1.50 per game I expect the tables to be level. The one we played on last night was so tilted that all the balls slowly kept moving to one side. While this should not make a difference with my poor billiard skills, it was very annoying. Not sure when I will be back.
Food is good. Good tap beer list. Plenty of TV’s. Packer games in 11th Frame all season. Service is pretty poor, at best.
Poor. I am not one to write reviews but I had a horrible experience, I would not recommend this bar to anyone that wants to have fun on a Saturday night. The bouncer, bartenders, and staff were rude to my whole group of friends. We were all wearing badger gear and wanted to go to a Wisconsin bar, we thought the Packer bar at Park Tavern would be a great place but we were very wrong. After having 1 beer we were told our whole group would not be served anymore. I am now home completely sober thinking it is definitely park taverns loss because I will never recommend them to anyone or be a customer again!
Bowling. What a joke!!!!! They shut us down because we were having fun with a birthday party. Even when we apologized they go we do it all the time, we have that ability. The night before we did the same thing and they laughed with us but apparently in Sundays you can’t have fun! We won’t be back for a long time. Lossen up a little!!!
Used a Groupon coupon there for $50 worth of food with 2 friends. We had good service and the food was VERY (unexpectedly) good.
