The worst service start to finish!!It started at the hostess stand and got worse. The waiter took our drink order and came back TWICE to get mine again. POMEGRANATE MARGARITA (from their drink menu)!My friend was given the wrong taco. We got no water.We ended dinner and waited 20minutes for the check, then finally flagged someone. The waiter came back with our three bills and NO PENS. Another 10 minutes to get those. This place is only good if you want to sit at the bar and get beer from their ridiculous beer menu that is pages and pages long.
I do not go for chain restaurants much, but we keep coming back to this one. I’ve gone periodically ever since it opened and appreciate the ultra-consistency. Especially when the menu is huge, both for food and drinks.The full dinner prices are a little steep, but happy hour is killer, so that’s when we usually go. Load up on a few apps and you’ll be fully satisfied with the generous portions. There’s plenty on tap and craft cocktails to boot.

My first experience with the Yard House was during the time my wife was stationed in Honolulu and it was one of the few reasons to head into Waikiki on the weekend. Great beer selection, attentive staff, decent food, and a dessert to die for. It’s nice to see they try to keep the experience the same across the board with their location here in the MSP area. Was really happy to see the Ace Pineapple Cider on tap here like it had been in Honolulu before we moved. Do not miss the butterscotch pudding to finish….it is sooooo goood…..
What can I expect at a chain restaurant is my first take — This was my second time eating at this location. Horrible service, not attentive at all – our waitress needed to learn the menu a little more and also had a lack of consideration on time and respect. The food isn’t anything to crave or go out of your way for — comparable to any so-so Gastropub menu.
