Preferred it when it was Linden’s. Zanzibar dark chocolate + cherry hand-pulled soda was the best.They still have some of the best upper midwest ice cream from Chocolate Shoppe (based out of Madison, WI). However, the lemon-raspberry sorbet was oddly gummy and elastic and didn’t melt as fast as it should on a hot summer day. A lot of the former old-world soda shop charm has been stripped down to basically a standard coffee shop with a few scoops on the side.I think I’ll stick with Izzy’s.
