Be Prepared to Wait…. Most every time I go this Davanni’s I order a calzone and it ends up taking up to 45 minutes to make, even if there is only a few people eating in the restaurant. Sometimes it only takes 10 minutes, but the average wait is usually much too long.However, it is always delicious when it does (finally) arrive, so it wins my seal of approval.
The white sauce is delectable. Davanni’s white sauce is olive oil and garlic based- no cream. The flavor is heavenly, and it goes great with veggies. The traditional crust is chewy and full of flavor, you really want to eat every bite of it.
