Great hometown bakery – doesn’t need to change one thing, love it! They have great donuts, cakes and other typical bakery items. I’ve been going here since moving to Shakopee in 1995.
This bakery is a gem! Absolutely everything is delicious and you really feel the home-town warmth in the shop with local regulars being greeted by name. Kids love the cake books in the corner for picking out birthday cakes. I brought their cookies to work and was told by someone that they were the best cookies they have ever had (and I agree). I’m a sucker for the pumpernickel bread….oh…and…maple snails…..mmmm……
Rude and unaccomidating. Went in to discuss a baby baptismal cake and was verbally assaulted for even asking if the baker could make a cake similar to one we found online. They don’t do fondant, they don’t make cakes that are 2D shaped or have unique shapes and they certainly will not make any effort to be nice while explaining to you why the internet is bad for their business! I don’t think I’ll ever return again. A lesson in manners and creativity isn’t too much to ask, is it?

Average baked goods, at least the couple I tried. Pleeeease update your bakery! It could be a place to come and hang out and have a treat, but it’s so very ugly. An overhaul inside to make it cutsie would be awesome. Have you ever been to Edelweiss in Prior Lake?
