Compared to its sister store in Roseville this location failed. But on its own it’s ok. The first batch of chips served were cold and stale. But the poblano queso is the bomb! We had to order a second one it was so good. Our service was ok but she seamed a bit frazzled for 7pm in a Sunday.

Over priced and under spiced. Was looking forward to a good Mexican meal and later realized a trip to Taco Bell would have been more rewarding – and cheaper besides.

Don’t suggest it. I would probably never step back here again. The food was awful. It did come out quick, but there is a reason for that. The fries are mediocre. McDonald’s has better fries. Salsa you buy from the grocery stores are better than theirs. Their salsa is very watery and has no flavor. The chimichanga dish was absolutely disgusting to the point I had to send it back. I got tostadas in replacement, but those weren’t that much better. At least it didn’t have that disgusting chimichanga sauce all over it. I have no idea why they would serve their rice SWEET but it’s gross. This place needs major changes in their food. Going to those little Mexican restaurants around Richfield taste way better for a lesser cost. Oh and we asked for a new Sierra Mist twice because it was out, but they still didn’t fix it? The server was very nice and offered a free dessert for our bad experience with the food, but we declined due to the fact we were afraid how that would turn out, too. The atmosphere was nice, but make sure to avoid sitting anywhere close to the doors during the winter even if its the doors that are connected to the mall.

Very Noisy. I’m used to the noise level at the Southdale restaurants, like The Cheesecake Factory and PFChang’s. Rojo is substantially louder. 4 of us went to a movie on a Saturday Night, and went to Rojo for dinner, afterwards. I felt as though I was yelling for the others to hear me. I’d go back, and sit outside on the patio…

2nd Is Great Like The 1st. I’ve visited this new location in Edina a couple of times now and I would have to say that this location is as great as the first location in St Louis Park.Although the inside finishes appear to be a little higher end than the other location the restaurant appears to look the same. One thing is for sure, the menu is the exact same and that makes me happy. Just love the free chips and salsa. The carne asada tacos continue to be my favorite tacos and one can not forget the margaritas.
