Nice large outdoor area. We were there for lunch on a beautiful weekday. Our service was average but then again, it wasn’t crowded. My husband had a nice piece of walleye but his fries were cold and I had the cheesy prime rib sandwich which was very good. My biggest complaint is that the prices were a tad bit high. My sandwich was $13.50 and draft beers were $7. Upgrading from chips with my sandwich would have been another $4.
Terrible service and all that we had were drinks!. We visited this restaurant with family on Labor Day, 4 adults and 1 child. We chose to be seated outdoors as the weather was great. We were advised by the hostess that the wait for food would be about 45 minutes, we said that that was not a problem for us as we were just going to order drinks. We waited for a wait person for over 10 minutes just to stop by our table and at least acknowledge us, but no one did. We finally asked one passing by to take our order, then it still took another 10 minutes to get the drinks, 2 beers, 2 cocktails, and a lemonade for the 5 yr. old, (btw, they had an outdoor bar with bartenders about 20 feet from our table), so our reaction was, ok, they have a problem here! We initially thought that they were possibly short staffed on the holiday, but after speaking with other folks who have stopped by this restaurant occasionally for summer drinks, they expressed the same sentiments. We were extremely disappointed and embarrassed by the service at this place as our guests were from out of town and sadly, we will not take anyone there again.
