My date and I went in with high expectations and were mostly OK…with the food only.The tuna tartar starter was tasteless, however the Mahi entree I had was excellent. Unfortunately our visit was spoiled by the racist patrons!My date was from a different ethnic group than I. The RACIST women patrons stared at us with open contempt and disdain. When GAY couples can be accepted without a blink but mixed couples cannot, it sickens us.WON’T be back!

Wow. Hands down one of the most amazing places i have been to in a long long LONG time. My boyfriend and i stopped in for lunch one afternoon just wanting to grab a cup of soup and instead are blown away by the amazing staff and creations the kitchen turned out. We loved it so much we went this past valentines day even tho we couldnt get a reservation till 9pm, the Ahi tuna was outerwordly and my boyfriends Mahi was just perfect. I would go there every day of the week if i could! If you are looking for that fantastic spot in stillwater this is the place to go!
Love this place, just wish it was less spendy. On the rare occasion I get to come to Marx, I am never disappointed. They have a good wine selection with a knowlegable staff, so if you’re not a complete wine snob, you’ll still get a good wine with your meal. Like the Spaghetti Lydia-has chicken a little bit of a kick and the Guiness sirloin. Try the samosas for an appetizer. Go on your birthday too, the card you get is great!
My husband and I have been to Marx several times with mixed results. This last time, they were able to seat us 5min before the kitchen closed at 10:30 pm on a Sat. The service was very attentive despite a busy and load bar area. We ordered the hot sausage penne and penne chicken to keep it easy on the late night cooks. Both were very good with large portions. We would go again but probably for lunch as the sound absorption is awful in the bar-and spills to the restaurant side. Very hard to converse and we do not have hearing loss.
