Old school Wisconsin Bar in Stillwater. If what you are looking for is a classic ma and pa beer bar with fried food. This is your place.If what you are looking for is a cheeseburger that is a bit akin to a White Castle Burger this is your place.If you don’t like to walk in an smell the bathroom, pay $1 a wing for an order of extra salty chicken wings, or order a pint of beer and get it in a 12 ounce mug… this is NOT your place.We tried it – we won’t be back.Oh, and Fox News is playing on the television… enough to make you lose your appetite and your faith that the owners have any sensitivity to what is easily least 50% of the population that this offends.
Great bar food!
A neighborhood bar that you wish was in your nieghborhood. Really solid bar food burgers, fries, cheese curds. 1st time Went there after a round of golf for a beer and a burger. Loved it. Relaxed feeling watched the game on the tv and chilled out.Took my family a couple weeks later. Now it’s a favorite for all of us.
A no brainer- go to this bar just for a beer and burger and talk to some down to earth people. A Stillwater gem. Carpet on the walls? Check. Time capsule? Check. Cool local hang out that usually has the Twins game on.
