Great margaritas! Huge platter entrees. The chimi and burritos were good, as was the chips and salsa and queso dip. The shrimp tacos were undercooked and although filled with lots of fixings, lacked flavor. This is the first time in my life that I left a shrimp uneaten. Good service, fun casual atmosphere.
You won’t find authentic mex and margs here, but it’s a fun, casual place to refuel just off the main thoroughfare. Decent usual suspects like burritos and fajitas are the staple along with a few more adventurous dishes like seafood stuffed poblanos. Go for the namesake nachos to start and you won’t be disappointed.Pro tip: if the season is right, hold out for a seat on the patio. Much less crowded and more pleasant.
Amazing Food!! When first seeing the menu I was a tad upset, everything seemed super pricy. We gave it a shot though and I’m glad we did! The portion size is HUGE! You definitely get what you pay for! We almost didn’t stop in because one of the reviews says there was no bar so they had to get drinks somewhere else…not the case. They most definitely had a bar with all sorts of alcohols available. I would definitely return to Nacho Mama’s!
