An authentic Mexican restaurant that has been Americanized to create an comfortable experience for all. You order like a fast food place and your food is delivered to your table. The room is large, clean and bright. The owner who takes your order is the example of perfect customer service. Friendly, informative and inviting. We ordered the steak and eggs platter with rice and beans. It surprised us how much flavor was packed in this dish. We will be back for the #2 platter again. The two soft shell tacos were excellent. These are not Taco Bell tacos. These are real meat in a homemade flour or corn tortilla. Parking is in a large lot in front of the main door. On our way out the owner thanked us and wished us a wonderful night. His words were from his heart. Very kind. We will be back.
Food is good, service is terrible. It’s hit or miss whenever I go to El Taquito. When the older lady is working its very difficult to get my order right. They over price their beverages just to get a bottle of Coke thats 16.9 oz.. The food is good I’ll give them that, but when i order a steak burrito I want a decent amount of steak in my burrito, 75% of my burrito was beans and rice, 20% cheese, leaving a small 5% steak. A 16.9oz. bottle of coke, a bean and cheese burrito with small amount of steak was $10.75. Making the burrito $7.00 and the small coke over $2.00. Food was good but this place is a joke.

One thing to remember is that when you use a debit or credit card, your bank holds an additional 20% for 24-72 hours. This is not something they control. When the charge actually goes through it will be for what the actual price is. Just so you’re aware. There is a sign next to the register that explains it. Once again: great food, cute and clean place, great service, generous portions.
Worker. Some people should know. when you have a coupon of 20 and you order 16 dllrs is not change. what the old man try to tell him but his inglish is not that good so some people misundertand what the old man want to said. He told this person because the bill wasn’t 20 dllrs the rest were stay as a tip and this person pay with a coupon and wants change and he got mad n
Worst place to eat. I just bought a groupon for $10.00 dollars with a total value of $20.00. I ordered 8 tacos costing 1.89. The old guy at the counter charged me $20.40. I asked him why he was charging me $20.40 when my bill should be around 16.00 and change. He stated that a 20% gratuity is charged at the end of each bill. I explained to him that the groupon is supposed to be honored for 20.00 dollars and gratuity should not be added especially in a restaurant that does not provide a wait staff. You have to wait for your food, seat yourself and get your own drinks but yet he is charging a 20% gratuity. He tried to show me a piece of paper from the Groupon site which clearly does not say that a 20% gratuity should be added. This is unethical and bad business practice. I will be reporting to the better business and contacting Groupon. I always tip but telling me a tip is required is ridiculous especially before I receive my food which I have to wait for and then take to my table. Worst place ever. Please post your reviews here if you have had the same experience. Buy a Groupon and I guarantee you he will be charging a 20% tip to your bill.
El Taquito serves authentic Mexican food in a very casual atmosphere. The El Taquito menu caters to the Latino community, but everyone will enjoy the food.
Authentic and Delicious. This restaurant is authentic and delicious. The atmosphere(decor and tables) isn’t the best, but the food is served warm, the condiments served fresh, and the meat has tremedous flavor. I always ask for extra corn tortillas to bring home. They are full of flavor and don’t crack as easily as the ones from the supermarket. Try the Ursala Plate!
