I was here thirty years go. The husband and wife team that own and operate the place have aged but their welcoming smile and doughnuts have stayed the same. By 10AM most of the cases were empty. Customers buy doughnuts by the dozens. The owner knew everyone in line but me. One duo has been coming here before they were married and today shared that their oldest was finishing college this year. The genuine friendliness of the owner makes waiting a few extra moments to be served acceptable. Be prepared to be talked into a few extra items. He also hands out free basic doughnuts randomly to boast about having the crispy outside and softest inside anywhere. He is proud of his product and business. There is plenty of parking in the stand alone lot. Easy to find. I had the apple fritter with real Apple pieces. Exceptional. Prices are reasonable. Quality is superior. Customer service is off the charts. I look forward to coming back here soon.
Luv donuts. Service WAY too slow
Service was horrendous and we never got the donuts. Not at all pleased- heard the place was good so went to try it. As a first time customer, I asked the man behind the counter questions about what was in the doughnuts. He told me to figure it out. I was a bit off put, but went to ask about another type of doughnut that it was not clear what was in it- he said he did not know, so I asked if it was like a flat cinnamon bun- he looked at my son and said oh so maybe your mom can be smart. There was a very odd brownish frosting on it so I asked what the frosting was- he told me he did not know, I said I think you do know- he told us to leave and not buy from him and then stomped in the back. We waited about 5 minutes thinking he was joking and would come back, but he never did. I was going to purhase 24 doughnuts for work, so he lost a nice sale by being very rude. Any business should be able and willing to answer 3 simple questions about their product. I will never go there and would urge others to go where the business is glad to have the customer and knows the customer has choices on where to spend their hard earned money. Please save your money for a place that has service and don’;t spend it here.
Best donuts in the Metropolitan Area. Donuts always good. They are open 18/7. The owner has dedicated himself and family since 1985. He strives for the best;sometimes owner tired from his 7 day weeks for many years but he always intends for the best and bakes the best donuts in town! I frequent it a couple of times a week and will always go back.
The man at the counter was very rude, my friend and i had just eaten dinner and weren’t hungry but we wanted to look inside because we were considering having it for breakfast the next morning. The man at the counter then told us to buy something and get out.
Donuts are fabulous. Old man is not. Literally yelled at me and told me to never come back. Never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. It was my first time there too. I can so without being treated so poorly and skip out on these donuts.
