I’ve been eating at Donatelli’s since I was in high school, which was in the late 80’s/early 90’s. Back then it was the Friday night hangout after games where we’d split pitchers of pop and pizza. Now that I’m an adult, I go back for the awesome Italian dishes.Is it knock your socks off Italian? No, but it’s good home cooking. Portions are generous and prices are fair. They still have the same good pizza I had years ago, but now I’m a big fan of their calzone’s and the Straw & Hay. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong.They also do catering; we had them cater my aunt’s funeral lunch a few years ago and I actually managed to sneak some home on the plane with me the following day.Definitely worth the drive to the North metro! katietalksabout.com
