We really wanted to have the experience of eating on the rooftop deck but there was an hour and a half wait at 6pm. We started with an appetizer, artichoke spinach dip which was the best I’ve ever had. I would defiantly order it again! I had the Fetticini Alfredo for my main course and it didn’t really have any flavor to it. I could barley taste the Alfredo. All in all it was a great experience! The wait staff was helpful and friendly, the food was pretty quick to come out as well.
Awesome. One of our favorite places. I’ve probably dined here 100 times and every time it is great. Here’s the key – for the price, i dont’ think you will find a better VALUE around. Salads are like $12 bucks and are HUGE. Ribs are awesome and really big. OYSTERS ARE AS GOOD AS ANYWHERE IN THE STATE. And i’m serious. I eat a ton of them.Check the wine prices. They’re not that bad. 2x the liquor store is good in my book. try finding that over at the other places in town (not to name names).Anyway, its great. And dont’ forget about the blue-cheese stuffed olives and Anchovies 🙂
New rooftop deck is nice, even though you’re looking over a busy road and not a lake…..too bad they don’t let you smoke cigars there. Went there for walleye, took them over 45 min to serve it. It was on the house, and tasted great. I’ll go back.
New Salad becomes my New Favorite. Absolutely can’t believe I changed my usual order, but was convinced recently to try the new Rudy’s Chopped Salad and it was incredible. Corn, avocado, dates, blue cheese, tomato, crunchy wonton strips, chicken and their always well-washed and chilled greens mix. It was big enough to share, though I tried desperately to finish it. Ask for their delicious blue cheese on the side and skip the meek Basil Vinaigrette. Can’t wait for the roof to open so I can enjoy it in the sun!23 Jul, 2010Don’t let the fact that it’s located in a Best Western turn you off. The food is consistently great, as is the service and price point. I’ve taken guests many times and have tried half the menu. I even like their signature sides- green beans and au gratin potatoes. Kids menu is a great one and fantastically priced, too. A favorite- we’ll never stop going back.
Juicy Lucy!. Thought I’d try the Juicy Lucy since it was on the menu – though it wasn’t quite what I was expecting, it was very good! This Juicy Lucy was loaded with butter, garlic, and other seasonings which gave it a unique flavoring! Unfortunately the kitchen service was pretty slow, but the wait service was excellent.
Try the marinated sirloin. It’s amazing. Decent prices overall and all the food is very very good!
BULLBITES – need I say more! This is the place where all the locals stop. Great atmosphere and excellent drinks!
